Insurance Inspector (Nanaimo, B.C.)
We are a provider of Insurance Inspection / Appraisals and Re-Construction Evaluations to general insurance carriers operating in Canada. Our head office is located in Vancouver, B.C. and we are looking for an Inspector / Appraiser (on contract) for the Nanaimo, B.C. area. This position involves an extensive amount of traveling, computer use and direct contact with the clients. While on site you would need to measure and draw the layout of the house onto graph paper.

You abilities should include:

. Good verbal and written communication skills.
. Good computer, typing skills and working knowledge of Microsoft Office such as Word.
. Knowledge and use of Auto Cad, Apex or other type of drawing program.
. Good organization skills to batch and schedule appointments with clients.
. Working quickly and efficiently to compile the reports and submit back (within a certain time frame) to our office for review.
. Knowledge of the construction and the property insurance industry is an asset but not a requirement.

You must have:
. A valid Driver's License with a clean history (past 3 years)
. Your own reliable vehicle.
. A Digital camera with Wide Angle 28mm and a minimum of 4m.
. A reliable Computer with Hi-Speed Internet Connection.
